Chapter 3. Traditional Motifs in New Contexts
Another way to preserve tradition is to use familiar motifs and meanings with modern tools and mediums such as vector and raster graphics, 3D technologies, woodcuts, silkscreens, and others.
Also some of the works here, although made with tools close to traditional ones, show a new perspective on Kufi: its form becomes unique and modern, getting closer to abstraction.
This approach allows us to look at the Kufic style from a new angle, exploring fresh forms and techniques that enrich its visual identity.
