From Understanding the Past the Present is Born
The project is the reflection on the entropy nature, its organization and the changes that take place constantly
The familiar form and its non-typical material proposes the viewer to think about the complexity and ambiguousness of forming up the world. The Earth is the notation of the initial material which is the basis for the world creation and where everything comes back at the end and the wax that is vulnerable to temperature temporarily tightens the earth giving it a familiar and clear shape like our principles forming our personality.
The installation made in the form of a wall of earth and wax bricks and is a metaphor of the habitual and at the same time uncomfortable, fragile, very true life and natural way of building up the relationships. When the temperature is higher than 35ºС the wax becomes plastic and anything made of wax bricks takes a risk to fall into pieces back to the initial materials.
The displaying of the objects is planned at the temperature 37,2ºС.
For a human being the body temperature 37,2ºС is a sign of starting sickness. Within the project it is a metaphor of a sick society. It is difficult for people in such a state to build anything new or at least to keep the existing way.
